Terms and Conditions of Trade for Business Account Customers as at 1st January 2010
Quotations
All quotations are valid for a period of 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Existence of contract
Unless otherwise agreed in advance, placement of an official purchase order indicates that the customer has agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions of trade as detailed herein. These terms and conditions shall not be varied without written consent by a director of R. F. Bevan & Co. Ltd.
Prices
All prices are ex. works and exclude delivery charges and VAT.
Payment
All invoices are payable within 30 days after the end of the month of the date of the invoice (e.g. invoice date 12nd July, payable by 31st August)
Title
All goods will remain the property of R.F. Bevan & Co. Ltd until the price has been paid in full and the customer shall remain a bailee only until payment is made.
Claims
Any claim or complaint by the customer relating to this invoice must be notified by the customer to R.F. Bevan & Co. Ltd in writing within 14 days of the date of the invoice.
Scope
The customer accepts that R.F. Bevan and Co. Ltd have any liability for defects caused by wear and tear or improper use, and that R.F. Bevan and Co. Ltd make no claims to the suitability of any goods for any particular purpose.
Liability
R.F. Bevan and Co. Ltd shall have no liability (other than death or personal injury resulting from the company's negligence) for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the performance of any goods or services supplied.
